One of the weird things that people do.
You know what I noticed a lot of recently especially in LA? People that spell their names in weird ways. Zoe Smith is now known as Zooey Smith, Rachel Zoe is now being pronounce as Rachel “ZO” with a silent E mind you. Jessica is now Jessyka, oh this one is the best I have heard by far, “Yeah it’s Ashley but it’s spelled as Ahshly, it’s a silent H.” You know even know how hard I had to force myself to not roll my eyes. Elizabeth Hasselbeck, you know that unrealistic tv person that thinks that the whole world is in black and white and no gray in between spells her name as “Elisabeth” now don’t even spell it with a Z cause it might make her cry. Do people feel this innate need to be so different and unique that they have to change the spellings of their names because heaven forbids their parents gave them normal names? I don’t know why but it bothers me that people have to do that. It’s not how your name is spelled that defines who you are in life, it’s not even what your name is unless it’s extreme like LuShit or Gaylord. It’s what you do for yourself and others that really defines who you are. People are not going to be at your funeral and think, “Wow she was completely unique because her name is Ashley but spelled as ‘Ahshly’ such a unique person.” So if you’re one of those and YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, STOP THIS NONSENSE!

Every year, Lionsgate gets the blood pumping for its new Saw film with the Saw “Give ‘Til It Hurts” blood drive, benefiting the Red Cross. As part of that tradition, the studio produces an ad campaign starring the Saw nurse, a sexy sister of dubious mercy who wants your blood.
This years ad campaign was created by Ignition Print and was photographed by Co-President of Marketing Tim Palen… and it’s the wildest yet with the SAW nurse sporting a uniform you wont see at just any old doctors office. Thats because its designed by the downtown NY fashion darlings The Blonds, the corset kings who have outfitted the likes of Beyonce, Katy Perry and Rihanna.
House season premier, I cannot wait.
